Take a look around your house and if your walls are covered with pictures of your pet, you might want to consider taking your love of pet photos to the next level. Portrait artist Christine Savella, creates one-of-a-kind custom painted portraits of your pet. She works with you and your pampered pet throughout the creative process to determine the size, theme, color, and how the artwork can match your décor.

Christine is an experienced artist, who discovered her artistic talent at the age of 3 when she picked up a crayon and started to do graffiti on the walls. Her passion for painting stems from her love of giving personal, sentimental gifts to family and friends. After painting a portrait for a friend she was encouraged to pursue her talent and she has been commissioned to do portraits ever since. Being a pet owner herself, Christine was pleased to be asked to paint pet portraits. She is the owner of two American Bull Dogs, Diesel and Bianca, so she knows firsthand how cherished pets are.

Christine starts the process with a photo provided by the client or photos she takes herself. She then presents rough sketches and stays in contact with her clients via e-mail so she can make sure she is on the right track. Christine also gets a description of your pet so she can find out what makes them unique and adds that personal touch to every portrait.
